According to a blog post over at Facebook users can now set their profile to public so that anyone can view it.This is a plus for users that do not mind sharing their profile with anyone.

WOW! This is really a great feature on facebook as now it is easy to search for a friend by seeing their proifle. Previously it tough to get right type of friends.Thanks for the great info.
I never realy understood why they didn't have this feature to start with. Still, it's good that they've finally made it optional.
