AOL has launched it's new stand alone site at lifestream.aol.com/
According to a report by TechCrunch they are saying this is what google buzz should have been.
Lifestream gathers content from several social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Foursquare, Delicious, Digg, Flickr, YouTube.This will integrate your friend list from the sites so you do not have to take the time to recompile them. So if you are connected there already or intend to be let us know what you think of this new platform.

I was looking at these lame old AOL you-tube commercials and it hit me. It really was popular back then. It can't be because of these commercials, when they were only coming out at it's peak.How did AOL get so popular. What set off the chain reaction?
I used to use a disk from the store. Now no one has them and AOL no longer mails them. I'm just transferring my account, not re-signing up. I had an old version 9 disk but had trouble using it with Windows Vista.
I am currently connecting to AOL internet via Broadband. I have 4 laptops for my family, which i cannot connect all at the same time. I am using the same screen-name to sign into the internet for all of my family, is this causing the problem?
