Friend feed has made some improvements to their search functionality. According to friendfeed searching is
now faster,and more reliable,and they have added a number of advanced search features.
Search for words only in entry titles or in commentsVisit their advanced search page to see the full list of available search features.
[intitle:superbowl] - entries that mention "Superbowl" in the title
Search for only entries that were liked or commented on by specific friends
[like:bret football] - entries about football that Bret has liked
Search for entries with a minimum number of likes or comments
[comments:5 friendfeed] - entries that mention FriendFeed with at least 5 comments
Exclude terms from your search
[jobs -steve] - entries about the job market, not the CEO of Apple
FriendFeed has launched an application to let you find all your twitter friends that are also on friendfeed.
To find buddies from Twitter who are also using FriendFeed you simply type in your Twitter username and it does the rest. The best part is you do not have to enter your twitter user name,and password like so many other applications require. FriendFeed's import tool also lets you take whichever friends you've selected and add them to a new friends list--that is if you're into that level of organization.
