Twitter is rolling out a new homepage design which will place a twitter search box in the right hand sidebar of the homepage.By default it will only crawl the tweets from those you follow. You will also be able to save searchs, and revisit them at a later time.Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has confirmed this in a blog post, and you can read it here.

Will this be a popular or worthwhile feature? We will have to wait, and see since it is being tested by just a handful of selected members as of now.

I find twitter difficult to use because you have to search from other tools so this makes sense.
Dont forget the # is useful for particular topics.

Bidding starts now for Twitter (based on your latest post), and I guess, this new change can barely be used. :(
