The news floating around the blog world this week has been that twitter was going to start charging corporate users a fee for it's service.Well according to a blog post by twitter founder Biz Stone this is not true.
Biz Stone stated that Twitter will remain free to use by everyone—individuals, companies, celebrities, etc.

I guess Twitter will have to make money at some point - and it's either going to be premium features or advertising. Nothing can remain so free forever.

I must admit, I have no idea what the business plan for Twitter is. Maybe they're just really generous, but there must be something in the pipeline, surely?

Isn't starting rumours great for getting more people talking about your company's service? Now we all know it's freeeeeeee!!!

Since its still rumors within the blog world, we have nothing to worry about. Besides, Biz Stone already stated that Twitter will remain free. The only question is, until when??:-)
