The banner exchange service EntreCard is now up for sale at SitePoint. The owner Graham Langdon has put a minium bid of $100,000 and a reserve of just under a million dollars.
The price is way over its value anyone that would purchase it at that price would be a fool.

Anyone that did not see this coming must have fallen asleep along the way.

Entrecard has not been without its problems, not the least of which is the fact that many users try to "work the system" and build Entrecard credits through less than honest methods. Despite its problems, Entrecard has a lot of potential. At its core, it's an interesting idea, but the owner, Graham Langdon, has admitted that he's not the person to take it to the next level.

I will agree entrecard has a lot of potential, but not at the asking price nor with Graham at the wheel.

That price is ridiculous. Especially now when everybody knows that the Entrecard is not what it supposed to be. It will be interesting to see where the whole thing will go.

That much, huh? But is Entrecard really worth that kind of amount? I've been hearing some negative feedback about it.
