Automattic, the company behind WordPress, announced that it has acquired enhanced commenting system IntenseDebate for an undisclosed amount.
This is being reported on the Techcrunch blog.

    Hope it improves their service. I'm still waiting for their "fix" that their customer service person told me I would hear back shortly - that was over a month ago. Have a great Wednesday Steve!

    I remember having the conversation with you on that.I figured they had worked that out by now.A month is way to long for a company like them to take on this.

    Hi, I run a website and would like to allow people to comment on the content (I do daily news bulletins etc, which are just added via simple HTML) "posts" I don't have a blog system (i.e integrated blogger account) and unless you can convince me really don't want to get one. How can I allow people to comment on my posts?
