This took me by surprise while reading cnet news I came across an article on businessweek having a policy of not linking to them.
With all the talk,and articles across the net on the value of links this took me by surprise.

    This is surprising to me too. I don't see what benefit their policy would have for them, only negatives. Oh well.....

    I have heard that many of the News Sites are doing this, I think that they are concerned with deep linking and having readers bypass their homepages.

    Yes the reason is that their main domain passes on Pr and they dont depend on links. They don't want them so that crap site dont link to them ;-)
