When writing a headline, try and fit it into one of the following categories:

1.Self-interest. Offer something the reader wants.

2.Curiosity.(remember that's what killed the cat)

3.News.

If you can combine those three components, your headlines will be even more compelling, and readers are more likely to click. When evaluating your headline, ask yourself - do I give news? Do I arouse curiosity?(remember the cat) Do I offer something people want?

If you don’t do at least one of these things, the posts are less likely to be clicked.

Have a great day!

I agree that the headlines are key to any marketing initiative. Too often, people get fixated with graphics and visuals that catch people's attention, only to have a headline that either befuddles, confuses, or tries to be too smart.
