In July of this year a google search engine competior was launched by a former google employee, and boasts additional search tools including subject tabs and search refining suggestions for users.
Cuil (pronounced COOL) provides organized and relevant results based on Web page content analysis. The search engine goes beyond today’s search techniques of link analysis and traffic ranking to analyze the context of each page and the concepts behind each query. It then organizes similar search results into groups and sorts them by category.
Have you gave it a test drive yet?

It's good to give Google a bit of competition. This sounds like a real "cuil" search engine. Thanks for the info Steve
I tried Cuil few times..interesting and the system is different. If they really promote it can go far...not easy to change something already branded in most people mind.
I like the differnet search results it gives you that google does not.It shows alot of pages that would never show up on google.
